Media Art Work -

This is a sculpture I created in media. It took me 2 weeks to make and I had a lot of difficulties smoothing it out.  First we mixed the plaster with water and then poured it into a bag until it hardened. we had to drill 2 holes and make sure it was smooth, then we did the same thing for the base but instead we poured it into a juice box to get the square shape.

Humanities
This is my Op-Ed. It talks about sexual abuse in Cambodia. It also talks about The book "The Road of Lost Innocence" where the author was a sex slavery survivor.

Chemistry-

This is a 2,3 methylpentane molecule. The white marshmallows represents hydrogen, while the blue marshmallows represent the carbons and the toothpicks represent the bonding.

 Reflection:
As a overall student I improved a lot in humanities, and the Op-ed shows a lot of determination and hard work I put into it. It took me about 3 days of thinking and research to get a good grade. Also, I struggled on the chemistry molecule the most. I had to create a 2.3 methylpentane. I literally ran to the store about 3 times looking for objects/materials to make it. I even asked my friend to come to my house to help me out, we stayed up all night. Lastly, the media project, which was the sculpture, was fun. It took me about 2 weeks to create, but it wasn't hard to do. As a student of Frank McCourt, I have to say Media was my favorite class along with humanities.
